Kyle Busch is my favorite all time driver in NASCAR. He is a 2015 NASCAR Champion, was Number 1 in points for 2018, yet has never won the Daytona 500.

The Daytona 500 has been run since 1959. Kyle has come close, but never a win. Toyota, Kyle’s manufacturer, has only won one time, in 2016, by a teammate of Kyle’s.

The Daytona 500 is the first race on the NASCAR Cup schedule; this race is about fifty days away. I’m keeping track. I’m ready.

Kyle Busch, who drives the #18 for JGR Racing, which is owned by Joe Gibbs, the former coach of the Washington Redskins, is pumped to win this race.

Busch, who began his NASCAR career in 2003, is one of only five drivers that have won a championship in both the Cup Series and the Xfinity Series and in 2005 became the 14th of only 28 drivers to win a race in each of NASCAR’s three national series.

Let’s be clear – Kyle’s got fire in his belly.

I bet you got fire in your belly too.

What is that one thing that is on your list that you have been striving for and are prepared to get?

All I can say, and I’m sure Kyle Busch will say the same, just hang in there, because you never know when you will get that one special thing.

Just so you know, Kyle Busch, the #18, has won at every track NASCAR has. Sometimes more than once. He has conquered a lot. Yet winning the Daytona 500 is a slippery lady and all at about 200 miles per hour; Kyle wants this one.

What is the ‘one’ you want?

Enjoy!
