If you are too concerned with what is outside of you, what is going on in the world, you will not have inner peace. Even though there is a great deal of outside negativity, you need to accept things as they are, not as you want them to be. Even your judgments will get in the way of your peaceful state.
You must be on the path towards Inner Peace or else you will be easily distracted with what is going on around you and the fact that you are judging it as good or bad.
It is what it is, not what you want it to be. This desire to control or judge takes you out of any sense of Inner Peace.
Keep your nose out of external distractions. If you choose you could stop reading the news or watching it on any of your devices.
This reading and watching shatters any Inner Peace you may already have and blocks your path to complete Inner Peace.
A peaceful life is not filled with chaos although there are many people who attract chaos into their lives and will have a difficult time of it. You may now a few people like this!
You can be at peace with your choices; once you are at peace, you can help yourself further by being kind.
Kindness towards yourself and others is one way to insure a peaceful life.
You can choose your behavior at any time. When you are in judgmental mode, it is difficult to choose.
Choose to tell your truth to yourself, about yourself. You can be gentle while doing this. Be gentle with your truth towards others as well. This is about you, not them.
