I believe in forgiveness. I believe forgiveness will heal your body, your relationships, your issues at work as well as your brain. Yes, your brain.
Your frontal lobe, the cognitive area of your brain, is also the area of the brain responsible for problem-solving and morality, as well as higher functions of thinking and reasoning. When you are in a forgiving mood, this area lights up and is highly active.
What could you do if this important part of your brain was working at top speed?
You could solve problems efficiently, reason, make judgments, make plans and choices, take action, and generally control your living environment.
A healthy frontal lobe allows you to be the human being that others want to be around; one without grudges and resentments.
The frontal lobe also controls your voluntary muscles, muscles that allow you to throw a baseball, ride a bike and jog.
Your frontal lobe helps you in most social interactions. It helps you to figure out how to respond to others, how to understand what people are saying to you, allowing for critical thinking.
All this from forgiveness. I think it’s worth it to forgive others, from your heart, to help your brain.
Forgiveness is the key to everything, the key to success in all areas of your life.
Forgiveness is a strength, not a weakness, so if you are stuck in your personal life, on the job (whatever it may be!) start to forgive people. We all have someone in our lives that we have an issue with, so join the Club of Forgiveness
Forgiveness does not mean forgetting or excusing the individual you want to forgive.
Forgiveness releases the resentment inside yourself, the resentment that may be preventing you from having a successful job, more money than you can imagine and a personal life that succeeds on all levels.
You cannot live a life of resentment or revenge. Forgiveness is for you, not others.
Is it time to ‘make peace’ with those you are holding in your resentment/anger box? For your sake, let them go and heal yourself.
It may take a commitment from you, but what else are you doing but running into walls regarding your life and being frustrated all the time?
Just do it. Just ask how.
