Change is normal in our lives. It cannot be helped unless you lived in a cave or something similar, with stringent routines. Even then there would be change as each day would continue to move forward and you would most likely age.
You may have heard the story about the lobster, how the lobster grows. At a certain point in the growth of lobsters, the lobster discards its outer protective shell. During this time the lobster is vulnerable to its enemies.
Yet the lobster regrows whatever it has lost in the past but better. With every change – which happens more than once in the life of a lobster – there is the unfamiliar and the unexpected.
It is time for regeneration for you. How about you discarding what you no longer need in your life? Make that list of what you need to let go of and do it now.
Instead of going into a shell, become vulnerable, take that risk right now.
And regrow any part of your life that will work for you at this time. You could repeat this process as many times as you need to.
You will still age, yet you will continue to be in charge – it is all up to you.
