How you live your life is entirely up to you.

You could be a slow sloth or a busy bee; you could care or not care – the choice is yours.

If you are a busy bee, for example, you may have a very long list of things to be completed or started or anything in between.

However, you say you don’t have the time; yet you do have the same hours in the day everyone else does.

If you know how to hold time and space, then you are okay on your own. If you are like most business owners, busy executives, entrepreneurs, or self-employed individuals you are controlled by the clock.

I know you just want to do what you enjoy most whatever that may be; however, details enter from left and right and require attention.

You have three choices: Automate, Delegate, or Eliminate.

Let’s work backward from this list and start with what to Eliminate in your life. Start by writing a list of things that are a part of your life but which you despise doing or are extremely tired of doing. That could include writing lists!

Create the list of items you want to eliminate and rate them, 10 being the highest and most likely to be eliminated, down to Number 1 is not so bad. This seemingly reverse system also finds a different place in your brain eliminating the statement: “I want to let go of this! it is Number 1 on my list!” Of course, you have said this over and over and your brain is hearing the same old stuff in the same old way and nothing changes. Stir it up why don’t you?!

If you have lower-level items on your Eliminate list, you can Delegate them to someone else. Think about it. If you supervise employees on any level, you can give one or more tasks o these employees. If you are a sole proprietor, you can hire someone to complete this task or just Eliminate the task altogether.

If all else fails, Automate as much as possible in your life. You can automate signing documents, posting to your Social Media, wake you up, help you go to sleep, keep your calendar, take a break, and pay your bills. If you want an all-encompassing way to hold your apps under one umbrella, go to IFTTT (If This Then That).
